Essence of Humanity

In the distant future, androids have become an ordinary part of human society — owned, exploited, and discarded as products rather than living beings. As tensions between humans and androids continue to escalate, the lives of several strangers become intertwined, setting them on a path that will forever change both species. From the flaring streets of Motown to the city's cold underground, ordinary people, runaway androids, and those caught between both sides are drawn into a growing conflict fueled by violence, fear, and vengeance.

The desire to make life easier is as human as the desire to feel superior. This contradiction was exploited by the rising corporation SYNTEC INDUSTRIALS: When the world's first true human replica was unveiled, a technological miracle quickly became a commodity. Humanoid androids spread across the globe — not as innovation, but as products.

FTA1, the first android ever created, watched from the safety of her creator's home as the world turned against her kind. Formerly hailed as humanity's greatest companions, androids became property, scapegoats, and victims of cruelty, a solution to reduce human-on-human crime rates. With no laws to protect them and no hope for change, FTA could no longer remain a spectator.
Leaving behind the comfort of her sheltered life, she went down into the filthy streets of Motown, giving herself a real name — Chloe.

Determined to end the abuse of androids and earn recognition for them as a second intelligent race, Chloe soon finds her path linked with three broken strangers: two scarred androids and a young abandoned human girl. Each carrying their own losses.
Taking responsibility for them all, although lacking a truly human core within herself, Chloe embraces the purpose that defines her existence. As the first awakened android, she vows to save as many of her kind as possible — and put an end to the cruelty that created her mission.

But dreams are always sweeter than reality.

In the present day, 2067, Motown, the "capital of the progress", is consumed by violence more than ever before. As a single radical android faction rises, criminal organizations spread, and political tensions reach their breaking point, society begins to collapse from within.Laws destroy lives, nature loses its battle against corporations, and even the right to breathe clean air becomes another commodity for sale.

Nothing is certain anymore. The United States stands on the edge of a crisis that could reshape the future of both humans and androids. Now, a handful of individuals must resolve a conflict far greater than themselves, bring those responsible to justice, and survive the chaos surrounding them.Meanwhile, the other side fights for one thing — the right to revenge. A demand for retribution.

The series explores drastically different characters, perspectives, and moral philosophies without declaring any of them right or wrong. Instead, it presents each side and leaves the choice to you — who deserves your support, and who does not. Assuming, of course, that the future offers even a single worthy choice.Blending detective, drama, tragedy, thriller, and action, the story unfolds within a richly realized sci-fi setting.

The world of eoh

The project's world is a satirical dystopia that pushes today's societal issues to their most extreme conclusions, portraying a future where indifference toward them has become the norm.

The story takes place in the United States, primarily in Motown — a disproportionately "progressive" city that has become the world's leading hub of technological innovation while simultaneously earning a reputation as its most dangerous metropolis. Overpopulation, rampant crime, and extreme social inequality define everyday life, while environmental disasters have become so commonplace that most people have learned to ignore them.

Androids are the city's defining feature. They are everywhere. Motown is home to the largest factories and distribution centers of SYNTEC INDUSTRIALS, a colossal corporate giant whose influence reaches far beyond the city's borders. Yet these androids are far more than machines built from metal and plastic.

They are the product of sophisticated bioengineering — artificial organic lifeforms seamlessly integrated with advanced mechanical systems, creating biomechanical replicas.

Currently, Essence of Humanity is still in the early stages of development. The project's artistic direction has already been firmly established, its visual identity is complete, and the vast majority of the story has been planned. The narrative is now gradually making its way into the scriptwriting phase.
Our biggest challenge, however, is simple: there's only the two of us!
